Re: Video Screensize Enlargement
To clarify, Handbrake accepts unlimited widths and heights only on the first time it runs after being installed. It reverts to its size limits from the second run onward.

Re: HandbrakeCLI won't run

Re: Video Screensize Enlargement
Here is one strange behavior of Handbrake: Right after I installed it, I ran it. Then I entered a source file, clicked custom for cropping, clicked none for anamorphic, and unclicked "keep aspect ratio". Then I keyed in the width and height I wanted, and it accepted both. Usually, Handbrak...

Re: HandbrakeCLI won't run
I'm trying to learn an alternative way to run Handbrake. I had put HandbrakeCLI in the Handbrake directory. Is this the correct directory? I'm not sure how to put it on my systems path.

Re: Video Screensize Enlargement
Yes, I know the hazards of upscaling -- file size bloating, the picture quality ending up no better but often worse. However, I found out that Handbrake can convert videos by a constant bit rate, so it should be possible to upscale a video without increasing its file size. One reason to upscale is t...

Handbrake is Groovy
I am about two weeks into my new-found field of video converting. My essentials are Freemake for most conversion, Format Factory for ripping DVDs into ISOs, Peazip for turning ISOs into VTS files, and Handbrake for turning VTS into MP4 videos. Also found out Handbrake is great for fixing various fla...
