Re: Unable to load custom preset
--preset-import-file reads the preset, then you have to use --preset to select it. Cheers Ritsuka, that worked (sort off), I used the command line: HandBrakeCLI.exe --preset-import-file "Jonathans.json" --preset "Jonathans" --verbose -i test.mkv -o test_done.mkv The CLI now repo...

Please detail your question or problem in as much detail as possible: I trying to modify one of the presets for the HandBrakeCLI. I wish to use the preset " Matroska/H.264 MKV 1080p30 " but I want HandBrake to keep all of the subtitles, which it doesn't if I just use the built in preset. ...

Re: Encoding stuck at 99.99% after 3h 45mins!
Cheers, think I will go back to MKV for now as well. I was only using MP4 as an output, as using Handbrake to reduce the file size, but with storage cheap, I suppose I can just keep the files in the original MKV (from MAKEMKV) format. Thanks for help.

Ahh, thanks. Any hints as to what I can use to encode subtitles then (for future reference).

Re: Encoding stuck at 99.99% after 3h 45mins!
Umm, every other episode I have ripped with MKV and use Handbrake to reduce size has copied subtitles (as per the subtitle tab) and allowed them to be usable.. So unsure why this one episode being so awkward.

Re: Encoding stuck at 99.99% after 3h 45mins!
I have downloaded the Nightly and ran it. This is finishing the encoding, but is forcing subtitles on, whereas I just need them as an option (which is how the v0.9.9.5530 does it).
Any ideas?
