Again: How big are these files, at such an absurdly high quality? Well after ripping Sin City with FairMount/DVD2oneX2 at the highest quality the folder came out to be 6.32 GBs. I'm just doing what most other people want to do, preserve their DVD collection, only I want to preserve mine in the abso...

Five out of five times, Handbrake crashes for me when encoding to Apple TV with 80 % constant quality. It crashes when it's muxing. And yes, I am using Leopard, a MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz. The AppleTV preset doesn't use 80% quality, and has settings that should never be used with constant quality mode a...

I ended up getting my Dual G5 setup to do 5.1 with AVI. So that is my plan for my conversion. Convert everything to high qualityh AVI and still support 5.1. I just don't want to do a backup and lose the 5.1. I have no need for iPod conversion and just focusing on home theather. I was thinking about...

So the last beta that you guys are suggesting to use that does not phone home, is it Leopard compatible? I am getting a new laptop Monday and would love to use MTR on it. In addition, I asked them some questions and here was my response: GB is the only one to decide when or if MTR will ever go publi...

Trying reading the documentation before asking silly questions. Sure I could read the documentation but I know nothing about video encoding so I would likely get confused. Browsing over some of it is complicated enough for me. All I am trying to do is encode my DVD (first ripped from MacTheRipper) ...
