Re: After source scan, no data in "title" or any other field
UPDATE: Tried ripping a DVD this afternoon. It technically worked, but the video was a total loss. Lots of snow with occasional color. Based on my description above of the process I used, what'd I do wrong and how can I keep from doing it again?

Re: After source scan, no data in "title" or any other field
It appears that, through MMKV, I have to "open disc" and let the program scan the disc before I try to open it in HB. I have 3 dvd-roms that I queue from. Is there a quicker way through this, or is that the solution I'm looking for?

Re: After source scan, no data in "title" or any other field
Yes, I have updated VLC. Yes, prior to that I had manually installed libdvdcss (instructions for which I cannot seem to find now to retry that route). Prior to whatever I did that broke my setup, all I had installed and all I used was VLC and Handbrake, plus that manual .dll install. It worked great...

Re: After source scan, no data in "title" or any other field
I'll try that, but I'm not totally convinced. HB/VLC run fine on my Mac laptop. On my Windows XP desktop I have been re-trying DVDs I ripped from that computer already that I know used to work fine and they're not ripping now. You still think that would solve the problem?

After source scan, no data in "title" or any other field
First, apologies from someone who is only MODERATELY computer literate. As in I can use software and configure some advanced settings, but I can't do command-line stuff without explicit directions and can't read logs. I've tried to follow the rules for all the things I need to do and check before po...

HB appears to scan but does not - no titles to choose from
Thinking I may need a nightly build for some new DVDs that wouldn't rip, I downloaded that (both files - GUI and CLI) and ran them. No luck since I'm running XP and XP isn't supported in the latest nightly. Uninstalled HB and reinstalled 0.9.9 to continue ripping some of my older DVDs. Yesterday (be...
