this isn't working for some years now.

would be nice if it was back by preferences--> auto_name_template
like : {source_folder_name}/{source}
where {source_folder_name} = parent folder name of sourcefile

There are already several free programs designed to do what you want to do, and do it well. And editing subtitle parameters isn't something that lends itself to being part of an encoder, since it is an interactive process. VOBSUBs and PGS are graphic images - you get what the author chose to draw. Text-based subtitles (unless burned in) are subject to whatever your player chooses to do with them. Some formats support embedded font style/size/color changes. Handbrake already supports SSA-type font controls in SRT file...

I used svn 5747 and svn 5753 both nigthly build. Both seems to have same bug. I select a folder containing my mkv which I want to reencode with SSA or ASS subs burned in. I have a similar request. I have a lot of episodes which only have one audio and one subtitle track . remembering audio is no problem. audio is almost always ac3 or aac en passthru is selected. the subtitle is always SSA or ASS (Substation Alpha). for each folder it is always the same.
