You can rip by chapters. If it's a commercial DVD, it will be divided into chapters, and you should be able to figure out which chapters you want to rip. All you have to do then, is type in the chapter number, or if it is a range of chapters the range (ie 2-7) in the DVD Chapters field of Handbrake....
