Re: How to integrate new version of x264 encoder?

Lol. That is a wish :D
Is there a solution to integrate in the Linux version r2893?
Creating a build myself does not work for me.
Which library do I have to replace before I compile?

.....sorry, my english is terrible.

Re: Force AC3 5.1 audio on TV records

Thx for your answer.
The problem is, some channels switch 1-2sec after the start of the movie to AC3.
0.5s at the beginning is enough to force handbrake to stereo encoding.

PS: Sorry, i use version 1.0.4

Re: Settings video (only crap)

Ok thx. For a practical converting (small size & good quality) is the "old" setting good. See:

Re: Settings video (only crap)

I mean, the same video output quality, but black bars cutted. Audio is not the problem.

Excuse me for my terrible english.
I work since 5 years with Handbrake (on Linux). I think, is the best ^^

How many CPU cores are supported?

I work with Handbrake (Linux Mint 17 64bit) on a DELL Precision 490 workstation.
Atm i have 2x Xeon X5160 CPUs (2x2 cores) inside.
Supports Handbrake 8 cores (2x Xeon X5365 (2x4 cores)?
Is a change of CPUs useful/faster?

is that the normal way?

when i rip a movie (HD ts from enigma2 box), i cut with MKVmerge and rip with handbrake.
do you make a easier way for doing that? (handbrake is very inaccurate for cut)
with blueray the same: makeMKV, MKVmerge, handbrake.

Many thanks to the handbrake crew

Here's a huge compliment to the handbrake crew. handbrake is a great tool.
I work with Linux (LM13mate). Handbrake and MKVmerge combined is the stablest and fastest solution in Linux for editing HD movies.
many thanks to you all 8)
