Actually I feel kinda dumb now, I was using Handbrake 9.0 and I did select anamorphic, however... mdavis75 you might be right, I went and started to see why it would be working with me and other people are saying it isn't working and well, looks like in Quicktime I was only getting 720, even though ...

Hello, Just wanted to say, HIGH bitrates and long movies work fine on the iPhone. I was able to put a 2 Hr 12 Min video on the iPhone at 4.0 Mbps, using this string: "keyint=300:keyint-min=30:bframes=0:cabac=0:ref=1:vbv-maxrate=4000:vbv-bufsize=2000:analyse=all:me=umh:subq=6:no-fast-pskip=1&quo...

Hello, Big news with the new iPhone and Handbrake... I was able to get high resolutions (full resolutions not 640 width) with very high bitrates way above 2.5 mbps to work with the iPhone. Very amazing I must say... I was loading these up via iTunes. I have tested small clips with Bitrates at 3.0, 4...

Yes you are right about MacTheRipper... however I thought maybe you could do this and add the audio AC-3 and MPEG-2 (Video) in a .AVI container. This would make it a lot less work than having to use MacTheRipper, and then having to go into Quicktime to add the audio back to the Video. Plus adding th...

AC-3 Audio & Chapters... In .MOV

Hello, I have been using Handbrake for a long time... There are some things that you guys have done which have really raised the bar to Video Encoding such as chapters, Surround Sound etc. However, currently you offer AVI, OGM, MKV & MP4 I was curious it is possible for you guys to add a .MOV op...

Thought it would help spread the new...

Don't Blame Handbrake...

To be honest if you want to be able to enjoy Handbrake Features and don't mind spending money just go register in Roxio forums. I currently own Popcorn 2 and I have been writing in there trying to get them to develop things such as Dolby Pro Logic etc. I mean we can't really blame Handbrake it isn't...

If you notice I also put "OR Something I am doing wrong" You don't have to talk down to me like that either... when all I was trying to do as a fellow handbrake fan was try to bring to light an issue that could have been an issue for more than one person. It seems to me that if someone is ...

Sounds great however... it will not improve quality.... and will only take more time to upscale it!! Also by upscaling a DVD you will see more artifacts, making it hard if not impossible to get a decently viewable movie!! Not to mention the space would be HUGE to store because you would have to real...
