Could you please elaborate? Are you saying it won't happen soon or it won't happen at all?nightstrm wrote:Because Handbrake isn't a hack job.

Re: AppleTV take 2 is out (hurray!)
Why not? People have managed to hack together 5.1 tests that have worked pretty quickly, is there reason to believe 5.1 won't happen with HB?sr55 wrote:don't get your hopes to high.HB team release DD 5.1 support

Re: AppleTV to support Dolby5.1 Natively
Also, a quick and dirty search through iTMS today reveals no HD movies for rent. To be sure, I only picked a few easy to find movies to check (Ratatouille, 300, etc.) and none of those offered an HD rental option. I guess Apple won't make this that easy after all. I suppose someone with a hacked Ap...

I don't know if this info will be useful, but the apple store's page for their new video cables lists slightly different specs: Note: Component video output to television is supported by iPod nano (third generation) and iPod classic at 480p or 576p resolution, and by iPod touch at 480i or 576i resol...

Thanks for the info. I'm not getting my hopes up, but maybe someone on the team will see the value in it and implement it someday. You guys have done a great job so far, I hope you continue to develop based on making the app the best it can be and not based on fears that someone might ask for suppor...

Turning on Auto Naming in the prefs is what makes it faster, it saves the step of changing the name of the output file each time. True, it does save some time, but a select all feature would save even more. Just curious, has there been *any* discussion on the team about potentially adding this? Is ...

I think it would be a shame to not add a useful feature just because some people might complain that it doesn't do more. In situations where different titles need to be handled differently, they can be added and tweaked manually just like they are now. Or if the ALL feature adds them to the queue, u...

Maybe for you, but I do it all the time. Just to be clear we're not asking for it to default to selecting all, just to have the option for those who want it. If I have a disk with 10 episodes of a TV show, they all use the same settings. And if I don't want all of them but want most, I can always re...
