Your log only shows a scan. It may be helpful to also see the encode log. Encode logs are all stored to file, so you should be able to supply one even when it crashes. Where are you pulling the "ubuntu version" from? This is the ppa I am using https://launchpad.net/~stebbins/+archive/handbrake-snapshots x265 is experimental and I have not enabled it yet in the ubuntu nightly builds. Is there a chance we will get a glimpse at it soon ??? and huge thank y...

No. If you check large file support, Handbrake writes the mp4 to be useable if it's over 4 GB. I don't know about the Theora issue. SC So my best bet is like "mduell" mentioned is High Profile But if i chose High profile I still have sliders to work with so I should ignore them and start ...
