Re: Video/Quality settings
Why are you using average bitrate rather than constant quality encoding? Constant quality encoding will be faster since it doesn't require an extra pass and will result in more consistent quality from one encode to the next. Different source material can require vastly different bitrates to get equ...

Video/Quality settings
I am using v1.1.2 64 bit on Win 7 U x64 I'm trying to get the balance between half decent quality and not taking forever and a day to enocde, normally this is how i have my settings https://i.postimg.cc/tRcyVFDP/Handbrake.jpg for me i find 2550kbps is enough for most of what i do, but it does take a...

Re: Why no bitrate when using mkv format
I think mduell and rodeo were questioning woodstock, not you. Regarding your file bitrate, if you keep your HB encoded files in their own folder you won't need to worry about the bitrate as it will be whatever you set it to. Oh Jesus having re read things i think your right, plenty of humble pie fo...

Thanks for the reply mduell sorry i thought giving the 1365x552 info would have been enough for you (told you i was a newbie) ok film is 1:85.1 (16:9ish) and i guess i'm just trying ...
