I talked a friend to converting his DVD's as well.
We both have 3 - 1 ITB WD drives.
We do back ups every couple of months as new stuff is added so I never have to worry.

I would like to see the Video AND audio on ONE page. The Drawer for the Presets is cool. Also the Presest don't remember things like Anamorphic On/Off. And Deinterlace on/off Audio Sample rate changes as well as Stereo / 5.1 etc. My idea of a preset it should preset EVERYTHING. Being able to re-orde...

I just put in an 80GB drive it was easy took only a few minutes. Getting a hack so NAS device to work may take a bit more work. As you need iTunes running to get streaming video and music. You could get an adapter to go to an external 750 GB, that would look ugly but should be very easy with a quick...

Re: Can Chapters Be Added to M4V Files?
I noticed that movies purchased from iTunes have Chapters so you can select a spot to go to during the playing of the movie without having to hold down the fast-forward button and wait forever. Is there a way to add this chapter information to an M4V file created by HandBrake either automatically o...

Re: MediaFork Ripping speed
Good day, So... now it's time to start ripping my large DVD collection. I have ripped two movies so far. The Abyss Special Edition and The Break Up. I have a quad 3.0 ghz MacPro, 4gb of RAM, 2 250gb in a raid and one 750gb drive that will become the library for iTunes. Each DVD has taken almost 8 h...

I tried Visual hub and there were several things i did not like about it. For example it did not autocrop all movies as good as Mediafork. There were a lot of extra black bars in several movies I did. I did like the like drag and drop on the batchlist. But I still think mediafork is better for DVD r...
