- x264 lookahead acceleration if the patch is accepted by x264

Driver issue with AMD or Intel? I assume with Intel, so they simply should leave them out of OpenCL acceleration business as long as Intel cannot make a good driver.

Nice, finally the part of program is accelerated. Those down scaling results are very tempting, hope x264 acceleration will bring similarly high boost again? Any news how long takes soon is?

All right, I'm just checking back every months to see changes and because I have seen some updates, I thought might possible to patch.

I checked the process again and I've found an x264-opencl_1.patch file. Can I patch my public handbrake with it and if so, how?

Where there is improvement, the speed gain only brings it up to what an intel i5 is capable of unaccelerated. That would be awesome to see A10-4600M working as fast as Core i5 in Handbrake. Well at least now I know OpenCL acceleration still on table and can coming any time around. I do not want buy Intel just for video encoding, Trinity has it's advantage for everyday tasks, games for laptop users but not complete without OpenCL acc. Will ever Handbrake get OpenCL acceleration? I'm really curios because this is one of the area where I could see big benefit of an AMD Accelerated Processor...

That is sad to hear OpenCL acceleration won't be available, because too buggy or made only for publicity demonstration.

Thanks guys, Media Player was the only problem. Using VLC Player the colors are absolutely matching with the source + I can select between subtitles .
