Nope, you can't. That's not the purpose of HandBrake.

Re: Open multiple EyeTV files

if I recall correctly, this isn't supported. HandBrake only opens a single flat directory of files. .eyetv "files" are actually not single files but container of files so require special treatment which excludes them from this feature.

Re: Handbrake stops at 99% every time.

It's not any of the when done options that's firing here.

It's the Send File To feature in Preferences that's triggering. (Tools Menu -> Preferences -> When Done -> Disable "Send file to"

See the When Done option in preferences. It's separate from the system action drop down.

It's in the name "Very Slow" :)

Probably cost more to encode it (electricity cost), than it store the raw hevc stream from the disc.

Re: Low Qoality on Nvidia NVEnc

So I wonder is this normal? It's Normal. NVenc generally requires a fair bit more bit-rate to achieve "good" results. Probably more so on h264. I've not seen the results from turing cards yet myself but from what I've heard, it's not living up to the marketing of the improvements in the encode engi...

Re: Optimal cores for Apple 2160p60 4K HEVC Surround preset?

@8Ringer: Couple of points: 1. If you don't need Interlace detection and decbom, turn them off. You probably don't if your dealing with 1080p. Filters can and usually are a bottleneck. 2. Another possible bottleneck is decode. Particularly on lower clockspeed chips. Ideally, >3.5Ghz base chips will ...

Re: Is there a multi-task option?

Not currently but you can run multiple versions of the app at the same time instead. It's a feature that's currently in development (and in testing in the nightly builds), but note it does require some pretty high-end hardware to be useful. Ideally >= 8 Core CPU with >=16GB of RAM really being the m...

Re: CONVERTING/COMPRESSING PROCESS VERY SLOW

Your running an encoding process (which is extremely intensive process) on an extremely slow CPU. While you can probably get a few more fps by - disabling the Decomb/Interlace detection on the Filters tab - moving the x264 preset to faster or veryfast on the video tab It's always going to be pretty ...

Re: Encoding freeze at 80% of chapter on Bluray no disc will not read

HandBrake has not done anything to your Disc or Drive. It doesn't support writing to discs so it can't do anything to a disc other than request that the drive read it. In all likelyhood, either the drive has failed or the disc has a defect or dirt on it. If windows is now having problems, try anothe...

Re: Quicksync decode of H265 not working?

Your CPU is too old to use hevc decode. It should really be trying to do that so there must be a mis-detect happening.

Regardless, you'll need to turn off QuickSync decode support to encode this file.

Re: NVENC encoders no longer recognized in 1.3.2

If you chose the portable build, the 1.3.2 build shipped without NVENC support enabled. It will return with 1.3.3 soon.

Either use a nightly build, or an old build in the mean time.

My guess is it's that rather than a driver issue. 442 is new enough.

Re: Best settings for best quality/lossless out put

@Woodstock ->
The 0.10.x versions still check for updates. The problem is the website only supports TLS1.2 for security reasons, and that version of the app is so old that it only supports TLS1.1

So update check fails. If a user updated a few years back, it would have happily worked.

NVEnc is fixed function hardware, not GPU based. It can't be split across GPU's

You haven't posted a log so we can't really make any suggestions with regards to settings you can change to improve speed, if even possible.

You can't with HandBrake.

You can either ignore them, or remux the file post-encode.

Re: Bottleneck Question

In short, if you start with a higher resolution, higher quality source, you can get away with a bit more compression.

When your dealing with lower resolution, low quality sources you typically can't be as aggressive with the quality slider.

What your describing is typically a hardware issue. - Overheating is the most common cause - Bad Memory (Run Memtest86 to test memory stability) - Unstable Overclock - Bad Power supply. Worth getting something like HWMonitor to keep an eye on the system. Occasionally it can be a driver related issue...

When you added all to the queue, it tried to do a drive space check on your D:\ drive
That drive was reported as being unavailable which caused a failure.

Do you have a d drive? Is a HDD or network drive?
