DTS-HD specific issues

Sorry to bring the dts-hd topic back again, but with last build (svn 5180), it seems there are still issues with it : Simple DTS is fine : Handbrake Version: 5180svn (2013011801) [19:40:30] hb_scan: path=/media/ST2To/BD/Baraka/BARAKA, title_index=1 [19:40:30] scan: BD has 8 title(s) [19:40:30] bd: s...

[Fixed]DTS-HD Broken

Hi, I noticed since probably I presume the recent update https://trac.handbrake.fr/changeset/5133 that decoding/encoding dts-hd ma tracks results in a complete video and audio mess  Handbrake Version: 5141svn (2013010401) [20:18:59] hb_scan: path=/media/ST2To/BD/28 Jours Plus Tard/28DAYSLAT...

Re: Here Comes Bob!

Is Bob deinterlace and bob decomb redundant if using both (can we ?) or what's the best settings to achieve smoothness? Is decomb Bob better ? I'm like the OP, everytime I encountered some deinterlace sources, I had to use avisynth yadif with bob which give me the best results, and for viewing such ...

Re: Engadget claims Quicksync support?

HardOCP also mentionned it with a regret tone. Personnaly I prefer that Handbrake concentrates on cpu decoding as it is now which is more than excellent for my use (and what about Amd owners/love ? :D ). I'm maybe a little too conservative and yes it's probably good for hand held devices, but for t...

[Fixed] Max 100 Titles

Hi, it seems you can't select a title if its number is above 100 titles. Pastebin is not working, sorry for the short log : [19:33:52] gtkgui: HandBrake svn4650 (2012050701) - Linux x86_64 - http://handbrake.fr [19:33:53] hb_init: starting libhb thread [19:33:53] hb_init: starting libhb thread [19:3...

Re: DolbyTrueHD in a mkv container?

Like Flo said you have the choice to just mux them "as is" as sup files with mkvtoolnix. Or you can convert them in vobsub with BDSup2Sub or in srt with suprip. Personally I use suprip which works exactly like subrip for dvd, which is an ocr program and can require some time and input, and...

Re: DolbyTrueHD in a mkv container?

HandBrake doesn't do TrueHD passthrough yet. The best you can do is FLAC (lossless if your source is 16-bit). How to tell if the source is 16-bit ? Some TrueHD audio files have a bit-depth of 16-bit, after according to eac3to, a 2nd pass which strips superfluous zero bytes. So how handbrake deals w...
