Re: Wrong placement and size of burned subtitles
I think I'm having the same issue as the OP described, but with a Captain America: Civil War Bluray and using the current 1.0.1 version of Handbrake. My source file is a rip using MakeMKV, and I want to burn in the subtitles for the foreign language dialogue. The Bluray displays the subtitles in the...

Re: Blu-ray conversions stopped working right
I am storing all my mp4 videos on a computer running freeNAS (Linux based) as its OS. The 1.5 TB drive in my NAS build is formatted with UFS file system because that is the default for freeNAS. Like I mentioned before, I've been converting videos with Handbrake and outputting directly to the NAS sto...

Re: Blu-ray conversions stopped working right
Thanks for the reply. I don't know what could have changed on my system to cause issues. I'll check my other failed conversions to see if it is same error each time. I've successfully converted a few more DVD's in the time since I started having issues with blu-rays and my storage drive has about 90...

Re: Blu-ray conversions stopped working right
I apologize, I was at work when I posted my original question. I wanted to ask the question while it was on my mind, but in my haste to get support, I did overlook the red bar above the text window. This is the last successful blu-ray conversion done on Monday of this week HandBrake 0.9.6 2012022800...

Blu-ray conversions stopped working right
Over the past two months, I have slowly been ripping my DVD & Blu-ray collection using DVDFAb's free decrypter, then converting to mp4 using handbrake for potential use on my smartphone. It's not a large collection (only about 40 movies total). I have been resizing the Blu-ray rips to about 800 ...

Re: Question about audio settings
I don't know why I didn't see this before, but I just found the audio settings in the Handbrake help. From what I understand reading the description, the Dolby Pro Logic II mixdown that I've been using can be interpreted as either stereo or 5.0 surround sound (without a dedicated subwoofer channel) ...

Question about audio settings
I have been using Handbrake for about 2 years. When I started, my sole purpose was converting DVD's to mp4 for playback on an mp4 player. I had pretty much just left the default settings, which worked fine for me. I now have a NAS server from which I would like to play my movies back through Windows...
