Re: x265 on CentOS7 CLI
That is where I was going next. I figured if I follow a guide to install from source I can manage it and it would then hopefully work with x265.

Re: x265 on CentOS7 CLI
I installed x265.x86_64.0:1.6-1.el7.nux package from nux-dextop repo, but I still get the same error in HB.

x265 on CentOS7 CLI
I just did a fresh minimal install of CentOS 7 on an old Dell R900 24 core server I want to use for encoding with HB. I was going to use Ubuntu since getting HB working on my Ubuntu Desktop was smooth and easy. However for whatever reason Ubuntu didn't like the server. The problem I am having is tha...

Distributed Encoding
For a long time I have been using workflows and scripts that I have found here to automate the process of ripping, tagging and encoding files. One problem remained though. Large 1080p files in high profile preset take a long time to encode even on a Core i7 iMac. For quite some time I have wanted to...

I have been using these Automator scripts for quite some time. Great setup and easy to use. It uses CLI to encode so it goes quicker and I have put a LARGE amount of movies in the queue and had them all turn out great.
