GCC version still shows as 5.3.1
Unless I missed something, when building the most recent master for Windows, the GCC version used should be 7.1.0 correct? When checking the log in handbrake, it still shows x265 compiled as 5.3.1. Here is a snipit: HandBrake Nightly 20170629161315-6554c6a-master (2017070201) - 64bit OS: Microsoft W...

Re: HandBrake bug after v1.0
Try disabling libdvdnav in settings and use libdvdread. I have had discs where it will either not read the titles, or read the disc at all. Tools > Prefrences > Advanced > Check the box "Disable LibDVDNav. Then scan for the file/disc again. He is not trying to read a DVD, so this will have no ...

Well if you want to test the latest and greatest, I just finished a Windows build with x265 2.3 and the latest master as of this writing. If you want it, PM me. This would be the bleeding ed...

Handbrake's x264 performance
Hey all, After seeing the following post, I decided to see if there was a speed bump between the version of x264 Handbrake is using (r2525) and the latest r2665 (almost a year more of development). https://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=32881 My test was done on an Intel i7-5930K @ 4.1G...

Re: File size estimate
Maybe instead of estimated file size it could display the current file size. That way you could tell if the file is getting too big to soon and would also give you a rough idea of final size. Sorry to bring up the dead, but I was thinking about this today and decided to knock out some code that wou...

Re: File size estimate
that shows "current avg. Bitrate * length of the movie" which shouldn't be hard to implement, right? If you will but do the search, as was requested of the OP, you will find the reasons from the developers why an "estimated file size" option, either static or dynamic, is no long...

[Fixed][4328svn_win_64] Crashes reading .m2ts files.
.mp4, .avi, and .vob scan correctly. When using the 64bit build on Windows, Handbrake crashes as soon as it scans the .m2ts file for titles. This crash was also found in the previous build too. 32bit works ok, and th 64bit Ubuntu build works ok too. This did not happen on the 4311 build. Here is the...
