Re: [solved] 0.10.0 vs. 0.9.9 sometimes non-smooth playback on RaspberryPi

i observed that issue some time, and with newer versions of OpenELEC i can not see that issue anymore.
(currently i am using OpenELEC 5.0.8 for PRi2)

so i think is was an issue of the RaspbianPi firmware/kernel option "avoid_fix_ts"

i changed the topic to "[solved]"

Re: 0.10.0 vs. 0.9.9 sometimes non-smooth playback on RaspberryPi

that is really strange... see x264 decoding stutters on Raspberry Pi there described somebody exact the same behaviour, and it is possible to fix id for some video content by adding an option to the config.txt file on the Raspberry Pi. but i can not see the relationship between that option and why w...

missing updated values at reimporting from query view

hi, i made a bunch of versions of one and the same source video with different settings to test something. (to get different versions at output, with different output containers, different durations, different filter/video settings, ...) after creation, i wanted to import the settings from the query...

Re: 0.10.0 vs. 0.9.9 sometimes non-smooth playback on RaspberryPi

Couple things to try: 1. Turn off decomb (don't actually need it for bluray content) You'll get faster encodes as a bonus. 2. Try setting the h.264 level to 4.0 This will keep bitrate spikes to a much lower level. i tried various combinations of that steps. deinterlace(off), h264level(4.0), ... dei...

no, even with mapping to a drive letter it is not working... strange, what is different between a network share file and a local file at drag'n'drop time in the case the share is mapped to a drive letter? - drag'n'drop works for local file - drag'n'drop not working for network file from \\nas\share\...

Do you mean audio normalization? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_normalization I don't believe libavresample has that functionality, no. no, like that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_range_compression i thought that this is a kind of normalization, but it is something different. but it can...

Re: Audio Output Too Low

libavresample normalizes the downmix matrix to avoid clipping in the output. This does result in lower audio volume. do you know, if the libav has the functionality of a dynamic range normalization - i don't know, if that is the correct technical naming of it. i mean a function, that will normalize...
