Re: SUBTITLE ISSUE MacBook Pro OS Sierra
And you are sure that there's actual content in the SRTs? You can check this with a program like Jubler(.org).

Re: What your video format preferences?
Compatability wise, h264 and aac seem to be the best options. I use Apple products so mp4 is my only choice. Curious, which Apple products specifically (I use a MacBook Pro and have no issues with MKV, apart from it doesn't play in Preview)? No Apple software support MKV, which means no OS level su...

Average number of FPS is based on conversion start
Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible: A minor bug. When converting a file, Handbrake reports the number of frames per second (FPS) being processed currently, and the overall average FPS since start, at the bottom of the window. The average FPS is calculated based on the start o...

Re: Blu-Ray to MakeMKV to HandBrake with Subtitles/CC in iTunes
I use Subler to OCR the subtitles from the MKVs I've ripped to SRT files. There are small errors here and there, but in general they are fine, and they fit my movie perfectly of course since they come from the same source material.

Problem converting specific tracks from Blu-ray
Hi, I am currently ripping my Blu-ray collection with MakeMKV, and then using Handbrake to convert them into MP4 files. All of them have been going as anticipated, except one set of files, namely extra material from Man On The Moon. The main track (The movie itself) converts fine using the High Prof...

Re: Crash when ripping Brave DVD
Handbrake version is in line 4 in the crash log, and I did indeed read the big red box on top of every page... Did you see the section where it mentions doing a forum search? https://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25780&hilit=brave No, as I do know how to act on a forum. I did a sea...

Re: Crash when ripping Brave DVD
Handbrake version is in line 4 in the crash log, and I did indeed read the big red box on top of every page, but since Handbrake crashes right when it starts reading the disc, no file is saved to ~/Library/Application Support/HandBrake/EncodeLogs/ as stated by the support page. Rips I did before and...

Crash when ripping Brave DVD
As soon as Handbrake starts scanning the disc, the program crashes. Tried it 3 times on an iMac, and 3 times on a Macbook pro, same output on both: Process: HandBrake [6441] Path: /Applications/ DVD & Film & Audio/HandBrake.app/Contents/MacOS/HandBrake Identifier: fr.handbrake.HandBrake Vers...

Re: Instant conversion but only 4kb m4v file?
I have the same problem, but it happens at random with DVD's that I rip. Most of the time I can just re-rip it, and then it works, but in some cases (Terminator 4), I only get the 4kb file.. Version 0.9.6 x86_64 (2012022800) (Newest according to the software update), Mac OS X 10.6.8, 2009 Macbook Pr...

Re: Blu Ray.mkv Concerns in Handbreak
90°C is a normal temperature for newer CPU's under high load. Nothing to be worried about.
