I personally don’t have much experience encoding in h265 to save space, I’d rather have better quality and just buy more disk space

Do you just need your files in a MP4 container? Or do you have to have a h265 file as well?

If you just need to change containers I would just remux rather than reencode.

I don't think there is any open source software that can encode Dolby Atmos. Anything i could buy that could do this? I’m sure Dolby will sell software that will encode to Atmos :D I think the problem will be that your source doesn’t contain any of the spatial information so it will be pointless an...

I prefer the quality and size of x265 as I don’t care about speed.

I would also ask why you are encoding your file? It’s already very compressed.

But you are sacrificing quality/size for that speed.

I don’t think you can select the log file location, it is always in the same folder as the handbrake executable I think.

Try ripping with makemkv first.

I’m not sure handbrake can open a folder full of ISO’s.

Handbrake will not scan sub folders, so your files will need to be in a single folder.

If you need to scan multiple folders you can script the CLI to do it.
