Re: Subtitle settings get ignored in batch mode.

Yes, I overlooked that softsubbed mkv does not necessarily mean ASS, but could also be SRT. Though I think the "problem" is easy to reproduce. Maybe I should have written a more detailed step-by-step manual. @s55 I can't test yet, but could "SetBurnedToOffForAllTracks()" refer to not only tracks of ...

Re: Subtitle settings get ignored in batch mode.

Yes, selecting the right track could be problematic, but if you're encoding a complete season of a TV series this is usually not a problem. Anyways, your workaround seems to be doing the trick. It even seems to copy the burned-in flag to all titles. But, while playing around, I noticed something dif...

Re: Subtitle settings get ignored in batch mode.

I didn't let HandBrake encode the whole folder, as that would have taken much time. Is the log I provided not sufficient? I just read the thread you linked, the files I tested have ASS subtitles and attached fonts. I think the issue comes from something different, i.e. HandBrake not applying the set...

Subtitle settings get ignored in batch mode.

Hi, well, the title mostly says it already: when converting a folder (for example a folder full of softsubbed mkvs that are to be burned in with mp4s as the final result), the subtitle setting does not get applied to all files in the batch. Instead the subtitles get lost. Am I doing something wrong,...

Re: [Resolved:]VFR is put onto destination when transcoding

Thx for your quick answer.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to lower the timescale then for CFR files the same way L-SMASH does it?

Re: [Resolved:]VFR is put onto destination when transcoding

I'm also wondering about the output of Handbrake. If I'm encoding to 23.976 CFR(!) in mp4 container for example, mediainfo still shows the following info: Frame rate mode : Variable Frame rate : 23.976 fps Minimum frame rate : 23.974 fps Maximum frame rate : 23.981 fps (sample: http://www.mediafire....

Re: [Commited] [Core] SSA burn-in support

I'm also experiencing problems with subtitles: The sample I used for this test: http://www.mediafire.com/?hiamk6v76wdxry4 I burn in the subtitles. 1.) Subtitles are bleeding http://www.abload.de/img/ass_bleedingcu9x.png This is probably the issue already reported in the trac: https://trac.handbrake....
