Maybe I should give some background info to this perhaps odd feature I'm thinking about: I have demuxed DVD files (m2v + ac3/wav) and SRT/SSA-subtitles. I want the subtitles burnt in, so currently there's a couple of options for me: mux the files into an MKV-container and use the SSA burn-in support...

Interested in burn-in of Mpeg2 PS subtitles
How difficult would it be to add burn-in of Mpeg2 PS subtitles, like those outputted by Spumux of Dvdauthor . Description of spumux: "prog for encoding dvd subtitles and multiplexing them into an mpeg". I guess they're stored the same way as in VOBs? From http://github.com/ldo/dvdauthor/bl...
