HandBrake

Description of problem or question: When I change the range, I would like to see what the result will be. The image shown in the Summary window doesn't seem to reflect the current range settings. Can somebody explain why the constant quality preset only does 1-pass? Wouldn't a 2-pass have better quality? if not, why not?
