bytheedge! The next version will allow sources to be passed via the Finder or another script. Personally, when I'm ready to encode, I just run the Service from the menu bar. If a .rec file is a supported source for Handbrake, it could easily be added. Let me know and I'll include it in the next ver...

Thanks for the replies.

Handbrake does work with .rec files. I'll have a go at editing the script myself and see how I get on.

Hi mac.jedi This is a great collection of skips, thanks for those and the excellent set up guide. I would like to use the encoding script to also work on files I download from my Topfield 5810 PVR, the format for these is .rec, is it easy to edit the scripts to support this file type? I'm not asking...
