Apple TV File Settings
I am trying to find the best settings for converting basketball games for Apple TV playback. Obviously, the fast motion makes finding the best settings critical. I am using HD mpeg files as my source for conversion, so I either have 1080i or 720p sources. I have tried a number of settings, and clear...

Blu-Ray?
Is Blu-Ray video ripping in the future for Handbrake? I've been pretty happy with ripping my MPEG2 HD files from Tivo to Blu-Ray using Adobe Encore. I've been far less happy with the various methods I've tried, to convert that MPEG2 HD files into MP4. I've played with MPEG Streamclip, Quicktime Pro,...

Audio drop outs when cropping?
I am ripping a DVD, that was dubbed from a VHS. So, the source video has black on the sides, creasing at the bottom of the picture, and captioning junk at the top. I am using the AppleTV preset, using slow de-interlace, and cropping the image to remove the unwanted junk on the sides. The result look...

Editing mp4 files
Is there a simple program for editing these mp4 files....sinple cuts and fades. Something that will allow it to be re-exported with the same iPod ready settings? I'm loving the quality I'm getting from ripping my basketball game DVDs, but I need to get rid of those pesky commercials and Final Cut Pr...

Yep. There is really no other way that I know of to get around this issue. You have to go in and remove the zero cells yourself though, DVD2OneX won't do it automatically. Thanks for the tips. I'm trying out both movies overnight. Did a test with Fun With [Censored] and Jane, which also has this pr...

MTR can be used to copy the Video_TS folder to the Hard Drive. It will tell you there are errors, ignore them. You then need to use DVD2OneX to remove the zero cells and resave the DVD without them. MTR 2.6.6 will do this just fine, it worked fine for TDNights for me. So essentially, if you want to...
