Ok......I tried ripping with MTR. Using that video_ts folder as my source, I get the same results. When I crop, the audio drops out every 25 seconds or so. When I don't crop, the audio is fine. Any ideas?

MTR can be used to copy the Video_TS folder to the Hard Drive. It will tell you there are errors, ignore them. You then need to use DVD2OneX to remove the zero cells and resave the DVD without them.
