ive been able to rectify the issue by simply realizing that i wasnt giving it admin privliges in vista, so ive got it all running fine using anydvd HD and its all good.
i do not know as for the others who seem to be having similar issues but dont all seem to be vista related

i have been experiencing the exact same issue as far as not being able to rip the dvd ive tried ripping from an image and the disc, used the DVD43 and anyDVD i do not get the command prompt popping up and after i click OK and try to rip it waits a second then says its finished? im running v2.23 on V...
