Re: Queue Not Starting Next title
I can reproduce it 100% of the time. If power management is on, the Queue pauses until I move the mouse/touch a key.

Incomplete Encode
I was previously using 5800 and just installed 5863. I'm using HB on MKV files created by MakeMKV (latest release). 5800 was working as expected. 5863 starts then quickly 'finishes' with a resulting output file of about 1K in size. This behavior was confirmed on multiple MKV's. 5800 completed correc...

Re: Audio Tracks Selection
I should add that the Audio track for AAC (Avcodec) has 224 bitrate and Dolby Pro LogicII
For DTS-HD, I have AC3 Passthru.

Re: Audio Tracks Selection
I choose ATV3 preset first. Settings on Audio Tab: Auto Passthru: All boxes are checked on Fall back: AC3 Two Source tracks, typically both on DTS-HD, it doesn't matter what the Codec is. The issue is present (where the previous Source track is retained) on all Audio track pull downs on the Audio Ta...

Re: Audio Tracks Selection
Hmmm, I can reproduce this 100% of the time. Scan log below. And it's not related to TrueHD, it occurs if DTS audio is chosen in the first mkv and then DTS is not available in the second mkv. Both mkv are in the same folder. HandBrake svn5782 (Nightly Build) - 64bit Version OS: Microsoft Windows NT ...

Audio Tracks Selection
I load a folder with multiple mkv files, they are all available and present within the Source/Title pulldown, Set the Audio track for the first mkv to trueHD, codec doesn't matter for this example. Go back to Source/Title and choose the next mkv. If the second mkv doesn't have a trueHD track, the Au...

Re: [Invalid] DTS Passthrough Not Working
My ignorance and clearly not a bug. For clarification: When choosing TrueHD --> AC3 Passthru, it works, and creates AC3. Is this because it converts from TrueHD or does it ignore the TrueHD and uses the AC3 that's present in the original source? Is there any way to preserve the 7.1 channels from Tru...

[Invalid] DTS Passthrough Not Working
I can't get DTS-HD Passthru to work. I've tested via two different sources and in both cases, DTS does not appear in the final output. I usually include AC3 as well, but I only tried with DTS for these tests. AC3 is included in the output if I choose it. I started with an MKV (created using MakeMKV,...

Re: Encode slows to < 1.5 FPS with DTS-HD MA audio
Also, not clear if this is relevant, but my Pioneer SC-67 reports the DTS audio as "PCM" when using the HB M4V. With MKV, it reports it as "DTS-HD Master Audio".

Re: Encode slows to < 1.5 FPS with DTS-HD MA audio
More details: While the DTS-HD Passthru appears to work when taken directly off the disc (not the MKV), playback using the DTS track results in dropped/sporadic audio and sometimes blank (black) video. This can be reproduced on various movies on the HB M4V files that include DTS when DTS is the chos...

Re: Encode slows to < 1.5 FPS with DTS-HD MA audio
Using 1 pass Constant Quality, with only DTS-HD Passthru, the same slow down occurs. I did additional testing and determined that the slowdown appears to only occur when using an MKV (created with v1.8 of MakeMKV and earlier versions). If I use HB directly on a bluray disc, it does not slow down on ...

Re: Encode slows to < 1.5 FPS with DTS-HD MA audio
Not sure if more detail can help you reproduce it, but I can reproduce it 100% of the time, any bluray disc, when I set as follows on Win7 or Win8, 64bit: Choose AppleTV 3 preset Video Tab: FPS (Same as Source) Avg Bitrate: 5000 2-Pass and Turbo first pass are both checked on Audio Tab: First Source...

Encode slows to < 1.5 FPS with DTS-HD MA audio
When adding a source audio of DTS-HD MA and codec DTS-HD Passthru, the overall encode slows to < 1.5 fps and continues to degrade resulting in having to abort the encode. This happens on any disc which includes the DTS-HD MA ---> DTS-HD Passthru audio settings. If I only encode with AAC (faac) and/o...

Re: SVN3697 Crash
That was it. MakeMKV generates two DTS tracks (if you have them checked) of which the first one is lossless. HB doesn't like it even though it defaults to that Audio track. I chose the second DTS track and it worked. Thanks for the quick response.

Re: Advanced Bluray/HDDVD Workflow & Features Discussion
Gonzus, thanks for sharing your workflow and results. I've also been experimenting with workflow with the goal to minimize the number of times I would need to transcode/extract/merge on my way to creating a usable ATV m4v file. I've almost got it working except for some annoying audio issues (below)...
