Re: Audio settings
If you want to make it louder without recoding it, just play it in VLC. It can up the volume to 400%.

Re: 2nd Audi Track in H.264, Cropping Preview, x64 version
- Add a second audio track for H.264 (most videos I encode are bilingual and I'd really like to keep both languages) Handbrake already supports up to 8 audio tracks at the CLI level so tracks can be added usig the query editor tab. The next gui build has 2 dropdowns available in the gui. Will we ev...

Re: Graceful Crash Recovery
I have a request similar to this, so I'll ask it here:
If we can pause encodes, and maybe eventually get crash recovery, would it be possible to save the progress of an encode in case we have to restart or shut down for some reason?

Re: I like the program so much that.......
Why not use something like VisualHub (or its free cousin, iSquint)? It does wonders with video conversion.

Aw, seriously? One of the most attractive things about HandBrake (the OS X client, anyway) was that the ripping and converting would all happen in one step.sr55 wrote:...we will be removing libdvdcss support in the near future so you will have to use an external ripper anyway.
Oh well, time to download MTR.

Sorry to bring up an old topic, especially my own, but I figure it's better than starting a new one. HandBrake 0.9.0 has the option for two audio tracks, with the second disabled (thanks), but while ripping my new Futurama DVD collection I noticed that some of the tracks have multiple commentaries o...

CPU-wise, if you're using H.264 you can limit the number of threads HandBrake spawns to do its bidding, using x264 options. Keep it to using only one thread, and you should notice HB being a lot nicer to your CPU - at the expense of probably doubled encode time. Let me guess, you can't do that via ...

   ...you're killing me!   I have to admit, I never though this request would be posted. Don't hold your breath. There are enough complaints that an Encode takes too long. Making it slower...the Developers would have a hit put out on them! Takes too long? You're on a ...

Limit CPU (maybe seperate core) and/or RAM usage.
Would it be possible to make it so that HandBrake only uses a certain amount of CPU power while converting DVDs? or even just limit the number of cores available to HandBrake? Also, could we limit the amount of RAM that HandBrake uses? I'm a big multi-tasker, but when HandBrake becomes one of those ...

Multiple audio tracks, but only one enabled
First of all, thanks for adding in support for multiple audio tracks, I love it. Before I used to have to rip the movie two or three times to get all the audio tracks, then throw them all together with Quicktime, but this is a lot better. But there is one problem with it. When I rip my movies and TV...

Re: More Converters other then mp4, ogm, and avi
Here are ones I would like to have (the ones in bold are important onces) RM, DivX, mpg, mpeg, mkv, mov If you want to save your rip as a Quicktime Movie file, just save is as an MP4 file with x.264/AAC encoders, open it in Quicktime, and save it as a Quicktime movie. It takes about 2 minutes, and ...
