What I am doing is converting all of my videos to m4v from mkv, some (most...) are anime files with .a s s subs. I have mkvtoolnix extract the subs then handbrake convert the video. I hate the clutter of have 24+ video files with an additional 24+ subtitle files and am just trying to figure out how ...

Well then you may be able to help me find one for OS X with CLI support. I have found none that will run on SL currently.

.a s s support

It would be nice if the .a s s subtitle file extension would be supported in addition to the .srt extension. (as far as I have looked not supported currently)

Ok the talk about the verbose flag made me look at my output more clearly and I realized it was how I was passing the command to HandBrakeCLI. I am a bit confused with the -v command though. Should it be creating a log file in the EncodeLogs folder like the GUI does (if so it is not for me =\)? I ca...

Sorry about that I typed it wrong on my post but I have tried -S and -s multiple times and both have not made the file size 700mb. Thanks for letting me know it is built-in presets only.

setting file size

This is not working right the -s 700 does not kick in, I get the default bitrate of 1000 every time run it. I have tried to make a preset of what I wanted and then run it but it ends up being 400mbs or so instead of the 700. Any help would be appreciated I must just be doing something stupid. Thanks...
