Converting from DNxHD w/stills causes freezing/issues

Hi, I'm running into the same issue with DNxHD that I did here - https://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=27196&hilit=prores. Essentially, I export with a Slate at the front (a still image), then footage. However Handbrake chokes on the slate and doesn't move beyond that. Updated info...

Re: Clueless about how to get HTML 5 video to work on Androi

it probably largely depends on your browser and version of android. newer/better android hardware will come with the ability to install Chrome brower which supports HTML5 video. when prepping for html5 video, set format to MP4 and audio to aac (default), also you want to make sure to have the "...

Re: Converting from ProRes causes freezing/issues

Also on one video, stills over video in background (image on upper video track before export), there was flickering. heres a zip, with the original file "ProRes-original.mov", a converted example of the slate hanging (the entire video becomes slate after conversion), and the custom preset ...

when encoding AC3 i see i have the option to "Pass-thru" to DTS.
what i meant to say is that when i was encoding video, i see i have the option to "Pass-thru" the audio to DTS.

AC3 "Pass-thru" to DTS?

when encoding AC3 i see i have the option to "Pass-thru" to DTS.

I was under the impression that "Pass-thru" means to losslessly copy the stream from the DVD source to the video file. but how can you losslessly transcode to another lossy format?

does not compute.
