Re: Band of Brothers Blu-ray, HB hangs on scanning
To follow up then, it doesn't look like I got anywhere with 3864. I'll add my log from that attempt to see if there are any clues there... It gets to an "angle" scan and dies. Handbrake is eating 100% cpu (I assume one core.) Thanks [17:30:06] hb_init: checking cpu count [17:30:06] hb_init...

Where did 3686 that John is referring to come from. 3684 gives me the same result as I had before.

8 Hour Blu-ray encode?
Just getting started with blu-ray encodes. Did Star Trek twice yesterday. Both high profile. First RF=20, forced subtitles on; Second RF=22, no subtitles. Took over 8 hours and about 7 respectively. Re: How-To: Automate DVD & Blu-Ray (Backup, Encoding & Tagging)
This is a great tutorial and the automation is outstanding. Thanks! First, one minor correction from the pdf that comes with the download: Page 13 states: 1. Launch Automator and open the "Batch Rip • Batch Rip (Service).workflow" file located in ~/Library/ Automator. The correct path is ~...
