Win & Mac Nightly builds gone
Is this due to a technical problem or is it a decision to no longer offer nightlies for Win and Mac?

Re: x265 2.2
I think any thread like this adds an automatic 1 week delay to the update. Could be two, I'm hazy. Plus they're doing post release patching, not looking to make sweeping library updates. I don't understand how the process works. I just noticed that previous x265 releases ended up in nightly Handbra...

x265 2.2
I noticed the nightly builds don't have x265 2.2 yet.
I didn't want to bother anyone about it so waited about a month first.
Cheers

Re: x265 Bump
Sorry I thought you guys use the incremental builds of which there have been around 45 updates since 1.7 was released in May.

x265 Bump
Hi,
The nightlies haven't seen an x265 bump since May. Just wondering if we can have the latest version incorporated in to the nightlies?
Cheers

Re: Problem trying to encode
I get Handbrake running out of memory still as well. Using latest nightly. When it gets to 1.5GB, that's when it dies. 32-bit apps should be able to handle more than that.

Re: Request: cpu usage cap
Right-click the proccess in task manager and choose "Set Affinity" and reduce the number of CPU cores it uses. That'll reduce power consumtion and heat and the fans should spin down.

Re: Need a way for HB to not run out of RAM
I saw the Ubuntu builds about 10 seconds after I posted lol. I'm not near the computer that I encode with at the moment but take my word, it says out of memory at the end of the log. I checked in Task Manager and it's pretty much right when HandbrakeCLI.exe hits 1.5gb that it crashes. It's like it c...

Re: Need a way for HB to not run out of RAM
That's a good idea and would work.
I'd have to change my sata controller to IDE mode as I don't think the live cd would boot in AHCI mode. I'd also be unplugging all my RAID drives as I don't trust them with ANYTHING.
Obviously I'd prefer a Windows solution but live cd is an option. Cheers.

Need a way for HB to not run out of RAM
I'm using the latest nightly build and it's great for letterboxed 2.35:1 1080p content that I then crop the black off and it's GREAT but the Windows 2GB process limit doesn't enable me to encode a full screen 1080p movie as I get the good old "HandbrakeCLI.exe stopped working" and go to th...

Easiest way to remux 32bit mp4 to 64bit. Forgot to tick bo
I forgot to tick the bloody Large File Size box on my last HD encode. It was a 14 hour encode and I don't wanna have to do it again. The file is 13GB and the data is all there but nothing will play it.
What's the easiest way to remux it into a 64-bit mp4 container?
Cheers
