Re: Subler (like Muxo, maybe better?)
And do you know if there's some good alternative (also commercial app) that can search meta tags in some italian web site ? I've tried MetaX, Vidalin, and many more with no success ... if it helps, iDentify uses TheMovieDB and TVDB as well as tagChimp. I use iDentify most of the time, but Subler ha...

Subler seems unavaible to search for Italian DVD in Amazon.it or IMDB.it on other search supported engine.

Help to downmix *.ac3 5.1 to *.ac3 Stereo

I have an audio file that was demuxed, it is a DD ac3 5.1 file. audio.ac3 Using Terminal, command line, how can I go about downmixing this to a Stereo ac3 file? I found that aften will do it with a wav source, but I can't figure how to ...

how to build mp4v2 for others?
Hi, I am using the mp4v2 tools in my routine. Bash script uses HandBrakeCLI then mp4tags and mp4chaps. I'd like to give a friend the same setup, but I know he can't compile the mp4v2, terminal = death in his world. We are both on Intel Mac's and the same OS level. Is it possible for me to compile a ...

Why does GUI work but not CLI for this?
Hi, I can't figure out why the Mac GUI will read the ripped DVD but the CLI is not. Trying to automate some converting with a Bash file using the HandBrakeCLI but I'm having trouble reading my ripped VIDEO_TS dvd's with CLI while the GUI does it just fine. Any ideas how I can get these to work via C...

Re: Windows CLI Script for all ISO in a folder.
I wrote this batch script to pair with the Windows CLI and encode all of my ripped ISO files in a folder. Feel free to help me test it for reliability or improve on it. @echo off for /f %%i in ('dir /b /a-d *.iso') do ( HandBrakeCLI.exe -i "%%i" -L -o "%%~ni.mp4" -f mp4 -O -p -e...

Current CLI Equivalent
Hi all, Wanted to see if this is the current CLI Equivalent, taken from: http://trac.handbrake.fr/wiki/BuiltInPresets#appletv The changelog says this hasn't been updated in quite a while so I don't know if this is still current with 0.9.4. ./HandBrakeCLI -i DVD -o ~/Movies/movie.mp4 -e x264 -q 0.589...

I sure hope that Apple gives Time Capsule an iTunes Server function so that people can stream to AppleTV's from a Time Capsule.rmilchman wrote:If I'm running a Buffalo NAS (Terastation Live), do you know if it will work using it's media server? From a PC & Mac it looks like an iTunes server.

Is this a question about the CLI in general or PineAppleCLI? If the GUI can take it, so can the CLI (and so can PineAppleCLI). You can see I used a vob here (in the screenshot) ripped with YadeX. CLI in general, can it transcode for example an AVI file? I've ripped a lot of my movies into high qual...

Not happening. Let each app do what it does best. Use HandBrake to encode. Use MetaX to tag. The interface and workflow for a good tagging app are totally different from the interface and workflow for a good encoding app. And since Mac OS X already has two great tagging apps (Lostify and MetaX), wh...

Integrated 'Atomic Parsley' Tagging ability
I'm using LOSTIFY which uses Atomic Parsley under the covers. It would certainly be great if this ability were integrated right into HandBrake and showed up as a TAGGING options tab when you're encoding for an AppleTV. In general, wow the new efforts from recent developments are just fabulous. The i...
