Thanks. Why do some movies do this while others don't? Also, when I ripped the same movie using Mediafork, this didn't happen. Why?

A few of the movies I ripped have noticeable interlacing artifacts. For example, "Grave of the Fireflies" -



So... What causes this? And what do I need to do to remove this?
