if you can find and set up the batch rip actions for automator, then that's easier as it uses the handbrake cli and you can build your own workflow to automate the whole process. but if you only have a couple of tv shows, then doing them manually through the handbrake gui queue is likely quicker.

i'm having a small issue with the new method of encoding. i've got two external dvd drives on my mac (internal drive doesn't work) if i put a disc in the one connected via firewire, it works just fine but if i put a disc in the one connected via usb2, then FairMount seems to take about twice as long...

sorry - forgot to say.
Just wanted to confirm that if we previously had the Folder Actions set up on the /Volumes directory then we should now remove that because it is superseeded by the Dispatcher, yes?
