HandBrake

I'm using the latest FULL version of Handbrake and the latest version of AnyDVD and Star Trek XI works perfectly encoding to an iPod preset.

No worries, at least it's fixed now.

Just out of curio, I'm still a little concerned about synch. Could certain DVD drives cause bad synch when ripping? Especially on the fly. The one in this laptop I've always been concerned about, (It makes some weird noises.)

Just select the shorter video, the other one just plain messes up. It's deffo not the software.

Not sure about The Terminator though, have you checked for a similar video file?

Even with the latest SVN2907 I'm still getting sych issues, is this an isolated case?

I've had this problem before, but it's really obvious now. Just encoded Doom to M4V. Thing is, Handbrake has only the MKV and MP4 carriers, M4V doesn't exist anymore. I tried renaming the MKV carrier to M4V, I'll try renaming the MP4 carrier to M4V later. Thanks guys.

I've tried not to mess about with the settings too much, just modified the new Apple Universal Profile to work. But unfortunately iTunes doesn't appear to be recognising the MKV or MP4 containers.
