Re: PSP: Need Help With Settings
i tried what Vacuum suggested, and it works. (except I haven't tried connecting it to the tv yet to evaluate quality). I do have one question: The PSP menus show a subtitle on/off option. How do I utilize that? I mean, I don't want to hard burn the subtitles onto the video. Example, in hotel room, c...

Re: converting avi to mp4/mpv: audio without video
Thx Ted for your help. It was the avi file that was causing the problem. The Xvid codec worked. The Divx codec did not work. After reading a few more threads, I learned that avi is just a handle (i think i know that means now, the extension doesn't tell what codec was used to encode the data). Now, ...

Re: One setting for iPod Touch G2 & Sony PSP
Ted, I just read through this thread and was wondering (since I'm only using a psp for video no apple devices), have you tweaked your settings for PSP only conversions? I'm a new handbrake user. predictably, my first goal is to find settings that other users have used to get good quality and small f...

Re: converting avi to mp4/mpv: audio without video
Thnks for the reply. I'll try the snapshot and your psp settings. About the avi file, the file i tried to convert was raw. The program that the file was exported from is BB flashback express. It's a screen recorder. (trying to make a few tutorials). BB gave me 5 export options: Cinepak Codec by radi...

Re: search using keyword psp
Thanks, that's what I thought. Ps3 and PSP searches are misses, while words over four letters yield a ton of hits. For the sake of convenience, maybe psp threads should get its own category.
I just spent an hour scrolling through threads

converting avi to mp4/mpv: audio without video
Trying to convert an avi file to play on my psp. Avi was created from a screen capture program, BB Flashback express recorder. I tried various settings in handbrake, but all resulted in a black screen (no video) with audio. Audio is good. BB records screen images, then allows user to export the vide...

search using keyword psp
Maybe because I am a new member... I want to search for psp related topics, but the search engine returns no matches with the keyword psp. (also for ps3) using HB 0.9.3 to convert an avi file to MP4. I get the audio, but the video is blank when played back on Quicktime. I tried several different set...
