Removing a countdown timer from a film
I have successfully made an m4v file of a VIDEO_TS film - a TV programme from the 19160s - that wouldn't play on my Mac, but would play on PC and DVD player on TV. Ahh, found a tutorial on YouTube (completely blurry, but its presenter had a lovely American Deep South accent, and I listened, hypnotised). I realised that I had to browse to the source, allow the program to put this into the Destination folder, then go in and change the name and path of this to a ...

I actually can't see how to browse and then rename the movie, Rodeo.
I click on Source, browse to it, fine, I find it, and the app adds it to the Destination field. Then what? If I press 'Write', it overwrites it.

My son kindly made a five-minute m4v movie for my birthday, and I'd like to put it on my iPhone so I'm not so lonely for him. But Handbrake is finding it indigestible. This is what I do: drag the 158.7MB file from the flash drive he sent me onto my desktop and rename it to something like "Happy...
