BluRay - video split across many m2ts files

Ok, so far I haven't run into this problem on BluRay movies I have. Typically you have one nice large .m2ts file which has the video clip in question. Looking at Hancock, it seems like there isn't a single file larger than 4GB and in fact, most average much less than that. After perusing the files, ...

Adding chapters automatically for BD content

One thing I would love to see is the ability to read the chapter data and introduce it into the encoding when dealing with BluRay content. Clearly we do it just fine with DVD content, and I'd love (and I am sure others would too) to see that enabled in an upcoming SVN variant. :) If I have somehow m...

Re: m2ts encoding stops mid-way

Let me correct one minor statement I made above. It wasn't Madagascar, it was Madagascar 2 that I seem to have issues with. In the process of ripping/trying again with the latest AnyDVD utility in the off-chance that makes a difference (since I've been encoding just fine other sources with that same...

Re: m2ts encoding stops mid-way

I was using the prior version of the AnyDVD. I can always try again with the latest (which I recently upgraded to).

Thanks,
Mike

Re: m2ts encoding stops mid-way

By the way - the above is fully reproducible. At least on what I was trying to do, it stopped the 2nd time at exactly the same time.

Thanks,
Mike

m2ts encoding stops mid-way

Using svn2325 i386 (2009041301) I was encoding bluray version of Madagascar, and all was good until it just stopped mid-way through. Seems to think that it ran into an EOF, but unclear if that is actually true. It did figure there was 80 minutes or so of footage, but what was output was roughly 40 m...

Building from SVN

Ok, I am highly embarassed to admit this (being a code developer traditionally in a Windows environment) but am having issues getting the SVN repository to build on my MAC's OSX 10.5.6 environment. I know that lots of people say to use the compile guide as-is and it should just work, and I fear I am...

Re: ?Problem with 0.9.3 and NEW (early 2009) MacPro

Babydoc - did you manage to succeed in getting it working? (Curious, since am about to order your exact system)

Also - if working, what kind of performance did you get in encode (with which params)?

Thanks,
Mike
