Update: Went ahead and tried it again. Full rip to .mp4... For the sake of argument I copied the whole DVD to my HD prior to ripping also. After completion of the rip the file size is about 2G or so. Attempted to play it back via VLC, no go. VLC reports that the file is 00:00 minutes long. PS3 of co...

Fair enough... however I did mean to mention that the attempt prior was a complete one... With the same results... I was hoping that there could be enough info in the log to give atleast some idea of what might be going on... Thanks for the reply
