Help Me Encode My Ultimate Michael Jordan DVDs...

I want to have a copy of my Ultimate Michael Jordan Anniversary Edition available for my WD TV Live Plus. So I used VOB2MPG to rip all, and now I have almost 40GB of MPGs. The MPGs have 2 channel audio, and while I'm mostly interested on preserving video quality, so it is closer to the MPG as possib...

Re: Option To Include ALL Subtitles?

Cause you never know? Actually, I like to have spanish, english, and portuguese subs. Problem is that sometimes, the subs numbers are not the same, meaning, that maybe spanish is one chaptar at number 1, and then number 2. So it is easier to just tell handbrake to just include all. Isn't it possible...

Option To Include ALL Subtitles?

I normally like to encode with the original voices, and add ALL the subs, but I see no option for that, and when you are encoding 85 episodes, having to add all 10 subs, makes about 1500+ clicks, which not only is a lot of clicks, but I can miss click at any time. So is there a way to tell HandBrake...

I just checked, the problem, is that the encoded size is about 2GB, and the MakeMKV one, is 2.26GB, so it makes no sense, because it takes 40 times the minutes.

Re: Highest Quality DVD Preset For ~1GB File Sizes?

Whatever result you get from the High Profile preset at RF 19 is about the best you can do. Thanks I would check it. Short answer is garbage in, garbage out ... I would also be careful about mentioning downloaded material... while it seems like a fair use, you may still be technically breaking the ...

Is it possible to have a release of 0.9.3 with the 0.9.4 presets or an option to override the 0.9.3 presets with the 0.9.4?

Sorry, so you mean to use the 0.9.4-svn version? I don't see binaries. And if not, what presets are you talking about? Thanks.

Re: DVD to H264 at full quality with handbrake?

Is this the post you are talking about? http://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9096

Sorry, but you have more than 3000 posts, so it is very difficult to search ;)

Anyway, should i wait for 0.9.4 then? When would it be ready? (more or less)

Thanks for your time.

Is actually the remastered version of Robotech, so i assume they are in pretty good condition.

Re: DVD to H264 at full quality with handbrake?

Update: i tried TV, Movies, and Anime, all ath 62%. Movies is the biggest and the worst looking. So i proceeded with Anime at 62%. It looks very good, but problem is that all 6 chapters end up to 3.3 GB. Not that far 4.3 GB of the DVD, and not worth it for me. Any ideas? What about my previous post.

Re: DVD to H264 at full quality with handbrake?

I'm considering converting my entire dvd collection to a mp4/m4v format in order to access it from apple devices (macbook pro, apple tv etc..). I more or less want the same. I want to convert my entire dvd collection to mp4, so i can play it on my WD TV (and IF possible on my iPhone 1st Gen, but i'...

Re: Encoding To MKV: Not exact size, and only 1 audio track?

I really don't know, i just pressed ANIME i think, and only changed the sound/subtitles.

Any better recommendation?

Cause i notice that on some scenes, things that are really still, "vibrate", like an encoding defect.

And why would MPC don't see second track? any idea?

Re: Encoding To MKV: Not exact size, and only 1 audio track?

About the sound, i right click on Media Player Classic, and i only see one sound track. But since you asked, i checked with medianfo, and ops! is there! So, why would MPC not show me the 2nd track? I would try on my WD TV when back at home. General Complete name : Capitulo 2.mkv Format : Matroska Fi...

Encoding To MKV: Not exact size, and only 1 audio track?

Lets try to post this again. I'm trying to encode encode my Robotech collection to MKV+h264+AAC. Only problem is that i have defined 250 MB as the target, and i get 220 (when i defined 300 i got 275). And i only get spanish, not english. Here are the logs. ### Windows GUI 0.9.3 2008112300 ### Runnin...
