Feature from the Linux GUI

Could you add the feature where it shows the output resolution and a sample picture from the video into the Windows GUI, like what is on the Linux GUI?
Thanks.

Hmm, I could have swore I used 2-pass with the iPhone preset in 0.9.3. :? But I'll take your word for it.

Re: iPod Touch / iPhone preset

I've converted a few videos with this preset, is there a reason why 2 pass isn't an option anymore?

Re: 5th Gen iPod nano

Your right, I misspoke. What i meant was not supporting the native resolution of the 5th gen nano by default. Is there any disadvantage to lowering the Modules to 8?

5th Gen iPod nano

The 5th Gen iPod Nano's resolution is 376x240, the 4th gen's is 320x240. The iPod preset would work fine for converting 4x3 videos for the 5th gen, but not widescreen ones. What I like to do is apply Max no-clip gain, so the video is as loud as possible, without clipping. I've experienced a large range of volumes for movies I have used.

I think it would be cool if HandBrake would have an implementation of ReplayGain.

Re: Crop widescreen to fit iPod

You are aware that all current iPods have a fit to screen or zoom function? Well I'm trying to convert videos for a 5th generation iPod classic and current gen iPod nano. I was not a aware that the nano had a zoom function, how do I get to that? Do you have any advice to have Handbrake to convert t...

Crop widescreen to fit iPod

I am trying to convert a widescreen dvd to fit my iPod, 4:3 aspect ratio, 320x240. The source video is 853x480 with 64 pixels of black on top and 61 on the bottom. So the actual video it self is 853x355. I tried to crop it to a 4:3 aspect ratio, by taking 190 pixels off of the left and right each wi...
