Hi there! On a related issue, but maybe it´s applicable here: I am using an older version (svn5710) which allows you to soft encode subs in the ATV3 preset (mp4v2). Yes, the resulting m4v doesn´t play on Quicktime or ATV, but you can remux the file via subler and convert the sub in a readable format...

I usually have a second language in my encodes, but not lately ... :roll: However, there seems to be another, probably/maybe not-handbrake related, problem which was the reason for some testing and made me start this thread. Hi there! I just realized that my AppleTV doesn´t recognize multiple audio tracks of my latest encodes. i.e. pressing "play" to toggle audio, does not show the different tracks. iTunes however does. Here´s a log of a non performing encode: HandBrake Activity Log for /Users/Scheff/Desktop/Q...

Hi there, I am experiencing the exact same issues on interlaced material as tallyho does. But a cross check showed that these issues are not present while playing via vlc. Only Quicktime playback on my Macs and on AppleTV are affected. So maybe it´s not handbrake related. tallyho, can you confirm th...
