Re: Compile Handbrake GUI on Windows
Greets, Would it be possible to make this a 'Sticky' please? It is starting to get buried under other threads and has now been pushed to halfway down page 2 already. Otherwise those new to thinking of compiling Handbrake will be forced to search through pages in order to find this very useful thread...

Re: EEDI2 Port
Greets, jbrjake - Thank you very much for your work on the EEDI2 port. Been using Handbrake 9.3.0 since it came out and it's enhanced Decomb funtion (yadif + mcdeint + lowpass-5 combo) is what really sold me on Handbrake as my x264 GUI of choice. I have tried over a half dozen or so other GUI's. All...

Glad to be of help with the DVDShrink suggestion. If you really want the opening and closing credits as part of the episode when you view. I suppose you could encode them seperately and then add all three (intro, episode, ending) together with mkvmerge. Don't hold me to that, never tried. Just a gue...

Re: Unusual DVD format, Handbrake doesnt see all chapters
Greetings, From what I gather you are trying to do. Is to seperate out the individual episodes and encode them as seperate video files. If that is the case then I would use DVDShrink in Re-author mode and sort them out that way. If it does not show you four seperate episodes, only one big one for ex...

Re: Autocrop sampling question
Thanks for the quick reply. That is just the answer I was seeking. The link really helped as well. I searched in General forum for Autocrop settings. Did not occur to me to search in Code / Dev as well. Gonna browse through there more often.

Autocrop sampling question
Greetings, I am curious on how much of a video autocrop examines to determine it's settings. Does it look at just the beginning, or takes samples at certain intervals throught the video? I ask because I have noticed on some older TV episodes the 'trash area' on the sides of the video is not always c...
