Picture is ok only the subtitles are not in good quality.

Hi, When i convert a DVD to use with my Apple TV with Handbrake the subtitles are bad quality. Also, on my Apple TV the sign "HD" (high definition) isn't on the movie, is this because the movie isn't converted to HD? Is there a way to have perfect subtitles and a HD movie with Handbrake? t...
