Re: can HandBrake convert to avi

Just use MKV as format and MPEG-4 for video and MP3 for audio, you can then remux the MKV file to AVI using AVITools from Emmgun (shareware) and Bob is your uncle.

Re: M1 Pro crash

I got the same problem om a MacBook Pro M1 Pro 16", MakeMKV offers integration allowing Handbrake to rip a Blu Ray directly using its decoding libraries and it is a setting in MakeMKV, however any attempt at accessing a Blu Ray with Handbrake (1.5.1) results in kernal panic and MacOS crashing a...

You can use MKVToolnix (free) to stitch the titles together to one file prior to encoding them in Handbrake.

Re: Handbreak no longer encoding Blu-rays

There is certainly a problem with HandBrake-20160118162854-41e238c-master-osx not encoding Blu-Rays. Version 0.10.3 x86_64 (2016012200) will encode without problems. I am using an updated version of MakeMKV 1.9.9 have added a 'lib' folder to the home folder and made and made the following symbolic l...

Re: Auto-rip, auto-naming, and auto-eject

The easiest thing to do is probably to use RipIt, set it to rip on insert and automatically eject. Then you can batch convert the ripped movies in HandBrake.

XviD offered a reasonable decent quality DivX compatible encoding. FFMpeg looks like s***, at least without any advanced features, such a...

Re: Handbrake taking 10+ hours?!

I just started using Handbrake because my buddies told me how quick and easy it was for them. For some reason though it takes my Handbrake 10+ hours to rip a dvd for an iPod Touch. I have attached a picture of my settings....any solutions? Here are a few tips to make your encoding faster: 1. Do you...
